The perfect samosa recipe
Samosa is a popular snack in our country.Most of the time we make samosas at tea time.
I made this when I went to a friend's house. In the evening we wanted to have tea. But we wanted to eat a little spicy crispy food.So I decided to make somosa. It really came out well. Everyone loved it.
Today I will share with you how to make samosas easily and perfectly.
What you need to make samosa
1.flour (what kind of flour you can get)
Plain flour, bread flour, all purpose flour
2.oil
Vegetable oil, cooking oil, coconut oil
3.potato
Fresh boiled potato
4.chickpeas
Boiled chickpeas (the name chickpea comes from the latin word cicer, referring to the plant family of legumes, fabaceae. It is also known by its populer spanish derved name, the garbanzo beans, black beans, lima beans and peanut are the familiar fooda found in legume family.
5.garlic
Fresh chopped garlic
6.onian
Fresh chopped white or yellow onian
7.ginger
Fresh chopped ginger
8.cumin
Cumim is famous in asia country. Its like herbs, if you can't find it. It's ok make without cumin.
9.Curry powder
Curry powder is a spice mix (coriander, cumin, chillo flakes,curry leaves, cumin)
10.tumeric powder
Tumeric gives colour and flavor.Tumeric made with tumeric root+ dry + blender )
11.chilli powder
Chilli powder is spicy. Made with dry chilli flakes
12.chilli flakes
This also spicy made with dry chilli flakes

Few people know that the samosa does not have an indian orgin.the deep fried,tightly pack of spicy goodness that we thought belonged to india is actually a delicious and well travelled immigrant form central asia.

The English word samosa derives from Hindi word 'samosa'. (Arabic recipe book some time spell it sambusaj)

The word come from persian word 'sambusa' which meam tringle. (Due to itits shape) generally samosa is triangular in shaptthis
Substitutes
1.chickpea = if you don't have chickpea. You can make this without chickpea or you can get green peas.
2.potato = if you don't have potato. You can also get sweet potato.
3.cumin = you can buy this asian super marcket. If you can't find this make samosa without this.
4.curry powder = if you don't have curry powder. You can get masala powder.
5.chilli powder = if you don't like spice you can make this without chilli powder.
6.Mustard seed = this is basic herb in asia countrys. When oil is heat up we add mustard seed.if you don't have this. It's ok.it's not important.
Part 01= First i am going to make samosa dough.
1.take a bowl and mix with flour and 1/2 tsp salt.
2.after then add to oil and little by little water and knead well until it looks like a dough ....
3.then put it in a bowl and cover with a clothe for 25-30 minutes.
Part 02 =now let's make the filling.you can make this filling or any fillin you like.
1.heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.add the
Mustard seed
Cumin
Chili powder
Tumeric powder
Curry powder and stir the spices for about 30-45 seconds. Don't let them burn.
2.Then add the
Green chilli
Curry leaves
onian
Garlic
ginger and continue to stir a futher minute's or until them cook.
3.add the
Potato
Chickpea
Salt, pepper to taste and add a little water, stir and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
4.the remove from the stove and mix with lime juice.out on a plate and let it cool.
Part 3 =now time to make samosa
1.now take the dough and roll it like a tube . cut it into 6-7 pieces .. make small balls ..
2.Then put the balls in a tray and cover with a piece of clothe.
3.take the ball and roll it into a circle on the rolling pin.(4-6inch)
4.then cut it in half ..
5.now pour a little water on the side of it and wet it in the middle on both sides to make it look like an ice corn.
6.now fill with it the filling we made
7.Finnaly brush with water along the cone mouth edge and seal it well ....
8.heat the oil to 180 celicius then fry 3-4 samosa for 4-5 minute's.
9.drain on pepper towels and serve❤️❤️
How to serve samosa?
Serve with dipping sauce like thai chilli sauce,chutney, tomato sauce, tumerind sauce.
What is best time to eat samosa?
Often taken at tea time as well as festivel occasions.

Ingredients
1.250 grams of flour
2.60 ml of vegetable oil
3.60 - 65 ml of water
4.Salt to taste
5.500 grams of boiled and mashed potatoes
6.A piece of chopped ginger
7.6 chopped garlic cloves
8.100 grams of boiled chickpea
9.tumeric powder little bit
10.1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
11.3 chopped green chilli

13 1 teaspoon of cumin.

16.1 teaspoon of lemon juice
17.1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
18. A little bit of curry leaves
